If there is something available that offers some sort of explanation in a way that can make the situation less awkward for everyone involved, then I say by all means use it. Do you have a better suggestion?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668872919742870494.post-10278161569229919942008-03-25T00:37:00.000-06:002008-03-25T00:37:00.000-06:00In response to the mom who took offense to your bl...In response to the mom who took offense to your blog.. I, too have an autistic son, though mine is also afflicted with tuberous sclerosis complex. He is now 20 years old, and every day with him is both challenging and precious. I love the t-shirts and I hope to soon be able to purchase several. The parents of autistic kids need all of the help that they can get. As I was reading your story, I was very touched, for I have a 9 year old son with Autism. He was diagnosed when he was two and a half or three years old. I love the shirts! Hope to be able to buy him two or three, anything to help spread the word about this rapidly spreading disease. And don't you worry about the ignorant and stupid persons who left messages on the GMA that don't have a clue. That's why God gave these children to people like us. :-) Take Care!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668872919742870494.post-66490210949531721722008-02-26T20:50:00.000-07:002008-02-26T20:50:00.000-07:00Ettina,True enough what you say. If not, that statement is kind of misleading. It bothers me when people describe themselves as 'an autism mom' or whatever, when what they mean is that they are really a non-autistic parent of an autistic child.Ettinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08230821659466586897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668872919742870494.post-62574759783051673112008-02-25T07:44:00.000-07:002008-02-25T07:44:00.000-07:00Love your blogs!
