I wonder if you have checked their metabolism, gut disbiosis, oxidative stress....etc ..that is well known among the people that follow biomedical interventions at the same time or before any therapy. If the children are sick they are not going to learn anything. Common sense to me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02117936879729039320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668872919742870494.post-66431799284984843272009-01-03T18:51:00.000-07:002009-01-03T18:51:00.000-07:00Keep your eye on South Carolina. Currently, it's the whole, "well, if your plan was written out-of-state it's not covered" even if you live in SC and your employer is in SC. It's a mess. No one knows what to bill, there's not enough providers. Everything's always a fight, fight, fight. But if we all band together (EVERYONE across the US)and keep fighting, some progress will be made.Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11175397536223133278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668872919742870494.post-72916677938264775662008-12-16T18:18:00.000-07:002008-12-16T18:18:00.000-07:00I do hope and pray that the insurance companies ar...I do hope and pray that the insurance companies are forced to pay for autism related claims. My son, with Aspergers Syndrome, just had over $6,000 in physical/occupation therapy and it isn't covered by our insurance. We live in Michigan, have Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance and they refuse to pay any claim that has the diagnosis of "autism" attached to it. And you are right, it will be costing insurance companies and society much more money when they become adults. I see other states have state mandate insurance for autism therapy and I am hoping other states, such as Utah and Michigan move to that also! We just have to continue to state in contact with our government representatives to support such a move. I think our state reps are so sick of hearing from me - HA!Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08577581879232636340noreply@blogger.com
