Michael Savage Autism Comments

As many of you know we like to say how we feel on t-shirts. We have come up with three shirts that tell Michael Savage exactly what we think.

Great tshirts!

One suggestion, though... "AUTISTIC'S are smart... Michael savage is an idiot." There is really no grammatical reason to have an apostrophe in "autistics" - if you mean the word as plural.

Those shirts are great! I can't wait to see them on children everywhere!

all Michael Savage need is several special needs kids for a month....then he would never judge again.

IF telling them to shut up would work, don't you think we would have done it (about a zillion times over). Does he think we didn't event try that approach? Anyways- he deserves to learn the truth. I trust the universe will find a way to let him.

Dang,
Michael Savage said what he felt. Although I don't agree with him, if we take away his right to vent....we have to take away all of our rights.

Mancuso's:

Grammer was never one of my strong points, ask my wife and mother-in-law. LOL Is the apostrophe in Mancuso right?

Mom26:

Oh, I don't want to take away ANYONES rights. I feel he attacked our kids WRONGLY for how they act. Do that and I'll bite back! I know that you understand that especially. ; )

mom26children - I totally agree he has his right to free speech, but we also have our right to say he's a complete idiot! :-) Especially when his free speech is heard by millions, who may not know any better than to believe him.

Technically,
He attacked the parent's and doctor's of the children. He said we did not discipline our children, have father's for our children, and that the doctor's misdiagnosed our children.
Now, that being said, he is a buffoon...I never liked him. His voice grates on my nerves.
Yet, I have the privelege of being able to change the station.
When my book is published, people will have the ability to not buy it and not read it.....

Michael Savage does have free speech rights but his accusations border on libel against ALL the parents of autistic children and the medical professionals that make accurate diagnosis of our children. The only reason he can get away with this is that he didn't accuse anyone person by name.

I used to listen to Savage regularly in the 90's when he was only local here (San Francisco) and over the years he's gotten angrier and angrier. I think he got fired from the local station and managed to get into syndication. Something's going on with him internally but he's the kind of person that would punch you if you suggested he might want to talk to a therapist about his anger.

Robin and I love you and your family for blazing the trail for large ASD families. Regarding, Mr Savage:

This is the part of what he said that got my blood boiling. More specifically, he said:

"... They don't have a father around to tell them, Don't act like a moron. You'll get nowhere in
life. Stop acting like a putz. Straighten up. Act like a man. Don't sit there crying and screaming, idiot."

Moron, putz, idiot... he is using those words as to what a Autism Dad should be saying. I never say these words to my children! These are HIS words attacking and demeaning MY children.

Yes he CAN say what he wants, but the next interview we have (likely this Nov when our documentary airs) I'll say what I want about him and some of these other ignorant people that have it all figured out somehow with obviously NO personal knowledge.

Peace and Blessings...

People need to stop acting like this is just a "free speech" issue, as if rebutting what Michael Savage says is somehow infringing on his free speech. He should be able to say whatever he wants, but he should be shouting from an unpopular corner on some pitiful street with no listeners, not on the third most popular radio show in the country.
